•Updating 35 ft long section of fence between Hamilton Hall and 9 Cambridge from 4 ft to 6 ft
•Updating existing 4 ft gate to a swooped 5 to 4 ft gate
•Letter of approval from Hamilton Hall in support of this plan
Existing Gate (View from Cambridge Street)Existing Fence (View from Backyard)
Fence by Hamilton Hall
•Keeping current style of privacy fence (only updating the height)
•No gaps between standard pickets
•Fence will remain unpainted (natural cedar)
•Last 8 ft section of fencing features a swoop to connect the new 6 ft fence to existing 5 ft gate post
•For entire length of fencing running between the two proprieties, all fence rails will face 9 Cambridge
Example of Fence Swoop
Gate by Hamilton Hall
•Matching style and color to Hamilton Hall’s gate
•Solid picket slat style facing out
•Painted black
•Gate will continue to open inward and have all hardware/hinges facing inward
•Curve of gate’s swoop allows for clearance of window and window frame while aesthetically matching the swoop of last section of new fence
•Swoops from 5 ft (matching Hamilton Hall’s gate post) to 4 ft

Proposed Style of Arbor (Botts Ct)

•3 ½ in wide pickets
•¾ in spacing between pickets
•Rails will face inward towards backyard
•Fence will not affix to 11 Cambridge in any way
•Supported by posts on both sides Existing Interior of 6 ft Fence in Backyard (Style to Be Matched)

also compliment the decorative curved
corbels on the side of 9 Cambridge
•Painted black to match the 5 ft fence and
gate
•Also matches the gates on other side of house

McIntire District
