Dear Owners,
I recently was asked to inspect a single room located on the right rear comer of the first floor.
The room had two occupants in it and they agreed to an inspection. The room had no bathroom
facilities or cooking area or any life safety items such as a required smoke detector. My
understanding is that this room was historically an office and a storage room.The room does not
meet any Building„ Sanitary,or Fire codes to enable it to be used for a sleeping or living area.
You are directed to cease using this room for dwelling purposes immediately.
If you feel you are aggrieved by this order, your Appeal is to the board of buildings,Regulations
and Standards in Boston.
