Dear Mr. Noble:
This Department received a complaint alleging that you are landfilling
construction demolition waste on your property.
I would like to point out that landfilling of refuse without first obtain-
ing site assignment from the Board of Health is a violation of Massachusetts
General Law Chapter 111, Section 150-A.
On March 3, 1984, a site observation of your property was conducted by a
representative of this department, This inspection revealed refuse scattered
on your property and refuse and metal on the slope of the fill in the rear of
your property.
You are hereby ORDERED to remove the refuse and metal from your property
within thirty (30) days of receipt of this letter.
You are also advised of your right to a Hearing if you feel this ORDER should
be withdrawn or modified. You may obtain a Hearing by filing a written
petition at this office within seven (7) days of receipt of this letter.
Failure to comply with this Order within the specified time frame will result
in a complaint being sought against you in District Court.
Please notify the Health Department of your intention to remedy this violation.
