Re: Board of Health Decision 11 Summer Street Housing Order Appeal
Dear Ms. Klosowski:
On Tuesday, April 11, 2023, the Salem Board of Health conducted a public hearing relative to an
appeal of a housing order for the property located at 11 Summer Street dated February 17, 2023.
At this meeting, you had the opportunity to be heard by the Board regarding the requirement that
sanitary code violations cited for unit 1 R.
After hearing all the evidence in this case, the Board of Health voted unanimously to uphold the
order and require the housing code violations cited during the inspection on February 9, 2023 be
corrected.
Therefore, the order remains valid and in place. Please make the necessary repairs and notify this
office upon completion so that a re-inspection may be conducted.
