Dear Mr. Alevizos:
In accordance with Chapter II of the State Sanitary Code, 105 CMR 410.000, Minimum
Standards of Fitness for Human Habitation, a recent reinspection was conducted of your
property located at 3 Northend Avenue Unit 2, conducted by Jeffrey Barosy, Sanitarian of
the Salem Board of Health on March 20, 2023. At that time the following items were still
outstanding:
Item#1: The circular living room window next to the bedroom entrance still has a crack
in the glass.
Item#4: The hole in the window at the rear of the basement has not been fixed.
Item #6: There are still rat droppings in the basement. Please have these rat droppings
cleaned up and discarded. Please provide the Salem Board of Health the reports from
the pest control service that was hired to deal with the rats.
Item #7: Bulk items remain underneath the porch at the rear of the property.
Please correct the outstanding violations and contact this office to schedule a final re-inspection
of this apartment.
All other violations noted in the inspection report of January 30, 2023 have been
corrected.
