11 SUMMER STREET LETTER 12-17-22 RECEIVED
FROM THE DESK OF

CITY OF SALEM
BOARD OF HEALTH
December 17,2022
Dear Jeff,
I was informed by my former tenant, George Williams that you tried to inspect his
apartment twice even though he told you everything had been taken care of.I am not
sure why you would do this if he told you that his repairs had been made?
I just got your letter asking us to make all of the repairs to the Bodero's apartment. We
contacted our contractor, and are on his list, but he is currently booked. We also have a
cash for keys agreement with Trisha Bodero, which she has signed, and has agreed to
move out before Christmas,in return for two free months rent,as well as receive
$7,400.00 from us to help her relocate,so that we can proceed with the sale of this
property. My 78 year old father would like to retire and rest after a life of working very
hard, and cannot until these people move on.The new owners plan to gut this
building. We have been trying to get the Bodero family out of this premises since
February of 2021,because of nonpayment of rent.Trisha is not even on this lease,is
not supposed to be there, and called you as a measure of retaliation, because of our
eviction proceedings, and after we beat her brother, another former tenant,in small
claims court for his nonpayment of rent.If it weren't for the Covid moratorium, they
would not be there. We too, have bills to pay and are not a bank.We are supposed to
close with the new owner on 12/27/22 and look forward to putting these people behind
us.I hope you have a nice Christmas.
Sincerely yours,
Heather Klosowski
