ROOFING PROPOSAL

Dear Daniel,
The below quote includes all labor, material, fabrication, equipment, disposal, and
insurance costs.
As requested, we are quoting you on the following work:
New Certainteed 3-Tab Asphalt shingles to the entire upper main roof and mansard roof at
the above address:
• Build a ladder stage on both sides of the main roof to the eve
• Roof staging will be set every 3’ going up the roof
• Strip off the existing asphalt shingles from the entire upper main roof and mansard roof
• Furnish and install 6’ of Ice and water shield to the first six feet of the roof eve
• Synthetic roofing paper will be applied to the remainder of the roof
• Furnish and install new Certainteed 3-Tab Asphalt Shingles to the entire main roof
• 1½ galvanized roofing nail’s will be used to fasten asphalt shingles
• New shingle pipe boot flashings will be installed
• Furnish and install new 8” white aluminum drip edge to run along the eves and up the
rake boards
• Rework and reuse existing wall flashings at each dormer and wall
• All debris will be picked up at the end of each day and discarded in a dumpster which
will be onsite for the duration of the job
Cost to do this work will be TWENTY-TWO THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED ($22,300.00)
DOLLARS.
Front and back of the Mansard roof-
Double bead half round hanging copper gutter:
• Set ladder staging at the eve of the roof at the above address to install new sections of
double bead half round gutter to the mansard roof
• Remove one courses of shingles from the main mansard roof above each section of gutter
• Furnish and install new hanging gutters and brass rods that will be fastened directly to the
roof board sheathing
• Gutters will be pitched to the outlets, location will be determined on site
• Furnish and install new 3” copper downspouts with elbows to drain the gutters at the
desired locations
• All endcaps, seams and outlets will be thoroughly soldered on site
• Reinstall the shingles that were removed
• All debris will be cleaned up at the end of each day, any metal removed will be recycled
at the time of removal
Cost to do this work will be ELEVEN THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED NINTY ($11,790.00)
DOLLARS
Standing seam coppers to the front entry door roof:
• Set a roof staging below the eve of the roof to remove the existing roofing material down
to the rough roof boards
• Ice and water shield will be installed to the entire roof to keep any water out during the
installation of the new copper roof panels
• Rosin paper will be applied over the ice and water shield and under the new copper roof
to allow the copper to expand and contract with temperature swings
• Siding will be removed to properly flash the wall
• Fabricate and install 16oz custom copper standing seam panels
• Copper panels will start at the eve of the roof and will go up to the wall and turn up the
wall behind the siding
• All panels will interlock with each other and will be fastened to the roof using blind clips
and copper nails
• A mechanical lock triple lock will b e used to close all the standing seams
• All soldering at the all intersection will be done thoroughly
• All debris will be cleaned up at the end of each day, any metal removed will be recycled
at the time of removal
Cost to do this work will be TWO THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED EIGHTY ($2,880.00)
DOLLARS
Clean up debris upon completion of the work and furnish workmen’s compensation and public
liability insurance to protect the owner in case of an accident while work is in progress.

Any rotted roof boards/wood must be replaced on a time and material basis before work can
