set forth in the Historic District's Act (M.G.L. Ch. 40C) and the Salem Historic Districts Ordinance.

Install new fence with gate per following conditions:
• Fence to be located at southeast corner of Church building behind cornerstone (see attached
image);
• Fence to match design of historic fence at front of property on Essex Street except for stone base
(see attached image);
• Fence to be in cast iron or steel painted black;
• Fence to have 2x2 posts at corners and at gate;
NOTE: Applicant to submit shop drawing to be reviewed and approved by Commission prior to
construction.
Upon completion of work, please notify Historical Commission staff for final review and sign-off of
Certificate.
