under the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP, 310 CMR 40.0000)
To the Concerned;
As required by the public involvement provisions of the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP, 310 CMR
40.0000), this letter is sent by Partner Engineering and Science (Partner, an environmental consultant) on
behalf of Prime Storage Shetland,to notify you that a Permanent Solution with Conditions will be submitted
to the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) for the property at 45-49
Congress Street, Salem on or before January 12, 2023. This property is a location at which reportable
concentrations of oil and hazardous materials have been identified,a condition which has been investigated
under the provisions of the MCP.
Section 40.1400 of the MCP requires that the chief municipal and health officers in municipalities in which
a reportable condition has been identified be notified when a Permanent Solution is filed with the MassDEP.
