Upon the receipt of my violation letter dated October 25, 2006 the listing on their website was quickly changed. Further, it has been my experience over the years as a Wedding Photographer that this room is not oversold. In the past ten years, I have shot more than twenty weddings at this location, and I have never witnessed a group of more than one hundred in this facility. It should be noted that the main reason of concern with overcrowding in this establishment is that the primary staircase serving this egress path is quite long, and is an existing non-conformity in this structure; were there to be an event in this location, this could prove to be a danger. The numbers for this space reflect this egress capacity as opposed to a strict measurement of the floor space. I hope this helps the Board to better decide their course of action regarding this establishment. If I can be of further assistance, please feel free to call me at the Building Office.
