A hearing on this petition was held February 19 , 1992 with
the following Board Members present : Richard Bencal ,
Chairman; Richard Febonio , Francis Grealish, Jr . , Edward
Luzinski and Stephen Touchette . Notice of the hearing was
sent to abutters and others and notices of the hearing were
properly published in the Salem Evening News in accordance
with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A.
The Board of Appeal , after hearing evidence and at the
request of the petitioner, voted unanimously, 5-0 , to grant
leave to withdraw this petition for Variances to construct

This office has received a complaint that you are accumulating unregistered cars and various building
materials and may be engaging in construction without havaeing obtained the appropriate building
permits.
An on-site investigations was conducted on November 15, 1991 by Julie Forsberg, Sanitarian Salem
Health Department. Three unregistered vehicles were found in the back yard along with stacked lumber, '
cut greenery,and miscellaneous debris. A concrete slab has been poured in the back yard and electrical
wiring is being laid from the slab to the house.
As the unregistered vehicles abandoned in the yard constitute an illegal dump under the provisions of
MGL Chapter 111,Sections 150A&150B,please cause them to be either registered or removed.
Further,building permits must be obtained for the type of construction in which you are engaged. As of
November 26, 1991,no building permits have been issued for your property.

dation, which has to be 4' deep, and the wire trench has to be at
least 18" deep to bury the wire. Also, an electrical permit has to
be obtained from the City of Salem Electrical Department.
