Dear Mr. St. Pierre,
Please be advised I am in receipt of your letter dated 8/7/09 regarding a Zoning Violation. As i shared with you
during our phone conversation earlier today, my business is web-based and was established in 1994- I have
worked out of my home here for the last 15 years. My work consists of phone work,and writing web pages
which you can see at wwtiv.hRC.info. It is an extensive web resource for homeschooling families. My work
does not involve clients corning here nor does it involve an inordinate amount of mail or special deliveries or
even trash pickup. I have a small P.O. Box for business related mail I receive. You mentioned a report of
multiple UPS deliveries. I can only say my family members are avid Ebay.Amazon and on-line shoppers. Even
still,that only accounts for deliveries by UPS once or twice a month and mostly during the holiday season.
.11 hese are personal purchasesand I would think,totally permissible by city regulation in a residential area. You
mentioned it was reported to you that a car comes here daily and stays all day. As I said during our discussion
this afternoon, my Aunt comes here often(since the loss of her son),we are vett'close and she does many things
with me to occupy her time now, including working part time from her own home computer on special projects
for rue. Because I am an active member of the homeschoiling community, currently homeschooling my 14 year
old son, we have a variety of people come here for social activities and other personal academic get-togetiiers,
none of said activities could be related to the part time work I do from my home office or the part time work I
contract out to other people working in their own home.
If you have any questions regarding the operation, of my web-based bus ness or the work 1 do from my home,
please feel free to contact ane in writing again at the address listed above. I hope that you will be able to close
this matter in a favorable manner for my family. During these extreme economic times,it would be very
difficult for us financially to appeal this alleged violation or apply for unnecessary special permits.
