1 am proposing to tear down the existing second level at 181 Marlborough Rd and construct a new second level and an additional third level to the
existing property.This will add roughly 1800 square feet of new living space to the second and thins level of the property.The plans stay within the
existing footprint of the current property and will not require any new foundation work.The property is located in an R1 zone but the property is an
existing 2 family. Please refer to plans provided for all dimensions.

My wife is born and raised in Salem and I have lived here for over 15.1 currently work in the city as a chef.Our proposed construction is to help
improve our living conditions and expand the space for our growing family.We are currently raising our one and a half year old and need to expand
the space.The current house has been in her family since 1927 and we look to continue that for many years to come.By staying within the current
footprint of the current structure,no additional driveways,or change in traffic will occur.The new construction will allow for new utilities and

services,which will improve energy efficiency and less stain on existing city services.Expanding the current structure and adding curb appeal will
most certainly add but also stay within the current character of the house,and will add additional tax revenue for the city.
