The Undersigned hereby petitions the Board of Appeals to vary the terms of the Salem Zoning Ordinance and allow the project to be
constructed as per the plans submitted,as the enforcement of said Zoning By-Laws would involve practical difficulty or unnecessary
hardship to the Undersigned and relief may be granted without substantially derogating from the intent and purpose of the Zoning
Ordinance.
Statement of Hardship(for Variances):
Statement of Grounds(for Special Permits):
Greetings:
While in the area and speaking with area residents they appear to welcome back a Barbershop at this location which will now once
againg be within walking distance from their homes,and allow them to just walk down for services instead of driving out of the
neighborhood.
Traffic flow and safety will not be affeted as there are already traffic timed spaces in the area and traffic signals at the conner that will
allow costomers to push the buttoms to cross the street now in use by residents.
Utilities and public services will not have any changes,they are already in place,in fact there is already am MBTA bus stop in front of 198
Loring Ave.
The business will not in any way affect the natural environment or dranage in the area.
As far as the neighborhood character we will respect the neighbors and maintan the most friendliest relationship possible with them.
Infact some of them are known to me and have express their willingness to support the business.
This location is already set up as a residential mixed use location so as far as city taxes are concern at this time we beleive they are
already in place.
